What the Isle of Aphrodite holds for you

There are many things about Cyprus that you can find just a little off and on the beaten track.  Someone always knows about where you have been, where you want to go or where you can experience the best Cyprus has to offer.
Although Cyprus is most famous for being the birth place of Aphrodite the island has "exchanged hands" many times and so has a great variety of influences over its architecture and design.
This has left much for us tourists to gaze in wonder at all these years later.  The sites include the Tomb of The Kings in Paphos, the flamingos at the great Salt Lake and Mosque at Limassol, the Kykkos Monastery in the Troodos mountains.  Wherever you travel in Cyprus you are able to find something of it's past merging with it's present.
