From Larnaka to Paphos to Nicosia
Take your pick on which way you
travel and how much you want to cycle
during your holiday to Cyprus.
Cyprus is fast becoming a location for
cyclists in training, with good weather
all year round and a variety of terrain
to manoeuvre over and around there is
no-where better to start your years
training.
There are events organised all year
round by the Cyprus Cycling Federation
and the Limassol Cycling Club. In
2005 the first Mountain Marathon MTV
Mountainbike race was organised and in
2006 the "Race under the Sun" Cross
Country Race was held over the same
route.
If competition is not what your
looking for but just a leisurely tour to
see as much of the island from the seat
of a bicycle then here are the route you
can follow. Before you set out
though ensure that the route is suitable
to your abilities by getting a brochure
from the CCF or if you are already in
Cyprus your local CTO (Cyprus Tourism
