The First golf course in Cyprus
The first of Paphos' three course was opened in 1994. It is set in the
grounds of an ancient monastery and while owned by
the Greek Orthodox Church it is
managed by Cyprus Golf Resorts who also operate
the well known Secret Valley Course.
This championship 18 hole course, set 500metres above sea level is said to be the most challenging of the
Paphos courses,
yet, with it one of the most beautiful.
Fruit trees and grapevines meander around this course as much as the
greens do
and a stream slopes along side to add that relaxing atmosphere.
The club house has recently under gone a face lift and the restaurant offers
a most extensive range of gourmet meals, whilst blending effortlessly into it's
surroundings.
