From Speed Boats to Jet Skis what will your poison be?

From the Harbour and along the beach front you are able to take advantage of a wide range of watersports.

One of the main attractions is always the Jet Skis.  These are a fast and furious way to spend half an hour or more if your arms can take the pressure of holding on so tight for so long.  There are designated Jet Ski areas for safety reasons and no swimming is allowed in these areas.  All riders are provided with instructions for use and life vests.  You are then set to ride the waves as fast or as slow as you wish.

Jet Boats are now the up and coming thing from Paphos, Tiger Trips have two boats Swing Low and Sweet Chariot both have 450 horse power engines that can rocket you to 100kph.  You can take a morning sea or land excursion or an all day land and sea trip with the team.  They are situated by the fort at Paphos Harbour and are open for business Monday through Saturday during the summer season. (The Boats are normally put back into the water after winter maintenance around the end of April).

If you wish to get a leisurely birds-eye view of Kato Paphos the best way of achieving this is by Parasailing.  After a short safety briefing you will head out into the open water in a speed boat, you will be harnessed and attached to your parachute and then cast out above the sea.  Trips normally last about 30minutes but it gives you and ideal of the lay of the land and will make you want to head off on a Jeep Safari or hire your own 4x4 to see more of this beautiful island.

For those of you who wish to get a closer look at the sea around Cyprus scuba diving is the way forward.  Whether you have a qualification already, would like to expand on your snorkelling adventures or get on in there for the very first time, Cyprus has the waters to do it in.  All of the Diving Centres and Schools around the island have highly trained staff and Instructors all of whom have undergone very strict training courses and completed a series of intense examinations to ensure that your time underwater is safe and a whole lot of fun.
